Breaking the Coaching Code: How Great Coaches Transcend the Rules is focused on the coach practitioner. The key theme of the book is based on the notion of a first and second stage in a coach’s life. The first stage involves following the rules and learning the skills, while the second stage involves breaking the rules wisely and with compassion to become a deeply intuitive coach.
Many coaches get stuck in the first stage and become entrapped in the ‘rules’ of coaching.
